La Providencia
Argentina - 2022
At La Providencia, I hosted a collaborative residency with transdisciplinary women artists to reflect on the environmental destruction caused by soybean monocropping.
Through art, and in the spirit of healing, we documented conversations with residents, encounters with the devastating effects of toxic chemicals, and moments of resilience amidst the damage. We learned about natural farming methods that protect our ecosystems and witnessed the impacts of chemical-driven cultivation.
This audiovisual content captures the beauty around us, performances of resistance, and the ancient practice of firing clay into ceramic. It serves as a call to action, highlighting women’s vital role as caretakers of the earth and our potential to inspire meaningful change together.
